About Dr Loucopoulos
Board-certified OB/GYN, Andrew L. Loucopoulos, MD, PhD, offers infertility and reproductive medicine therapies at his practice in the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City. The boutique practice features personal and patient-centered care to provide every woman the special attention and compassion she deserves. Dr. Loucopoulos has years of experience and offers only the highest degree of medical excellence combined with a concerned and caring attitude. After attending college in Greece and receiving his medical degree and doctorate from the Athens University Medical School, he went on to do his residency training at Alexandra Maternity Hospital in Athens, Greece. He then completed a second residency program at New York State University, Downstate Medical Center.
Dr. Loucopoulos served as a research fellow in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City and was awarded a fellowship at Columbia University in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at New York Presbyterian Hospital. He has served as a full-time faculty member of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia Presbyterian since 1982, where he was named Associate Professor in Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Loucopoulos is a Fellow of The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the highly regarded Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, as well as a number of other professional organizations.
